“I did not have sex with that woman.”

And.

“I had no knowledge of my son’s business dealings.”

Trump is not religious. He just avoids talking about it because most of his base is religious.

When he was president, Trump did not avoid speaking about the birth of the Savior at Christmas. He read from a script that someone else likely wrote for him. He got what he wanted.... the support of many gullible Christians. If people would pray to God for discernment, he would show them who are our friends, and who are the wolves in sheep's clothing.

Religion necessarily means believing there are things in the world that are bigger than you.

Donald has never shown any hint that he's capable of thinking that way.
