Interesting post.

We can also thank the Obama administration and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for the open slave trade in Libya.

Although, slavery for many through history meant food, housing, protection. It was like a job, albeit one they couldn't quit.

Has slavery just continued through our controlled economic system? The economic system grants us access to food, housing, healthcare. It represents the trust system between people living in a society. Perhaps the governments that spent huge resources on freeing slaves did it not out of a moralistic sense of duty, but to change the human capital system from that of slavery to that of a controlled currency.

Much easier to keep slaves if they think they're free.

Now, an individual can make choices about who they want to do business with and what of the available jobs they may take, but they don't have much choice in paying taxes or participating in the economy, and it looks like the economy is about to change.
