I gotta become an illegal immigrant?

No. You become a US national, but not a citizen, and not a resident.

It's the political and lawful equivalent to the original "state citizenship".
They hid this status under the misleading term "national".

A US National doesn't appear in the IRS code. They his the status under the label "non resident alien".

I'm no longer a 14th amendment citizen, which is literally the status of the former slaves.

Is this one of those 'sovereign citizen' flim-flams?

Far from it.

It's the real deal. Verifiable in every aspect.

The US State Dept even issued me a new US passport with my updated status.

That's wild.

You'll never find US national flim flam, because it's legit.
They keep it on the down low.

You become legally alien to the IRS code.
