Funny cause the whole reason they were actually tracked down and sent to concentration camps was that Otto Frank was running a ration card forgery operation. Also funny that Otto Frank, the only one not to be transferred out of the Auschwitz "death camp" was also the only one to survive the war.

I actually now think whoever grassed them up was even more of an arsehole.

The dutch were so starved during WW2 that they started eating ground up tulip bulbs. Those ration cards would have been life savers. How much of an idiot do you have to be to love the authorities more than your country and countrymen?

That's the thing, Jewish people (especially back then) don't consider their host countries to be their countries, nor the people of said countries their countrymen. It's literally why they've been so universally hated throughout the centuries.
