You're not seeing the real picture. He was the last big conservative because he was willing to play dirty like the left. Every other conservative before him got lied about, slandered and completely destroyed by the left. Trump came along and played the media's game, won pretty big for a little bit, and then also was defeated, except this time with way more ridiculous lies and slander.

I think the moral of all this, is that most Americans are easily manipulated by propaganda and media. Media and politicians on the left say literally anything, and NPC sheep parrot the lines like it's the ultimate truth.

"trust the science", "it was an insurrection", "bbaaaah baah", "he is a racist", "baaaaH"

The only thing even redeemable or likeable about Trump was that he was willing to play dirty vs the left and it drove them insane.

His 2016 campaign was great ( basically Steve Bannon's ideas), doubt Trump actually really believed in them though.

Exactly, he called out the fake media. That drove them mad and they ultimately won. I can't believe most people didn't see it that way though, and basically just believed the narratives being weaponized. Nobody had to like Trump to see what was going on, but it honestly surprised me. Now it's almost like he was never president.

The single most important thing he did is call the media out. He got millions of Americans that trusted the media to take a second look. Dissident politics will grow if Americans can get out of their bubbles and listen to alternative ideas.

To some extent but the vast majority of these people still consume Fox and/or AT&T-owned (they also own CNN lmao) OAN, then you have Breitbart, Infowars and other 'alt' media they're going to be consooming.

Most of these people are still mediabrains consuming nonsensical spectacle, they just call out 'the mainstream media' meaning the left side of the kosher sandwich.

IMO, he made every thing more polarized and political.

No, these MSM outlets will never let us forget he was president. I hear they're trying to stop him from running in 2024, if he tries. They will continue to ridicule and demonize him as long as the ratings are still there.

He's the only president that they still cream panties over even out of office

C'mon man, wake up and smell the roses. Trump is as much of a sell-out as Biden is.

American Conservativism = Pat Buchanan

Anything less than that is factually Liberal Lite.

As for Trump being the final bastion, that honor goes to Jeb Bush.

He is neocon incarnate, brother of the former President who sent Americans to die in Iraq over lies, speaks Spanish and committed the heretical act of race mixing with Globina.

If you want to know why Republicans pandering to the Latino vote is a bad thing, it's all summed up in that picture. Trump is just an idiot, whereas Jeb wants to make America Mexico again.

There’s something hilarious about Joe Biden being president but I don't know what it is.

Conservatism is liberalism in defiance of itself.

The "conservative strategy" is to acquiesce at every opportunity and grovel at the feet of their fellow leftists. A true conservatives, even a mild one, would look more like Pat Buchanon or Nixon. And even then, they are simply a smidgeon higher on the ever-steepening slippery slope.

That Trump was meant to be(or became) controlled opposition isn't exactly a hot take. It was obvious the minute he got rid of Steve Bannon who was ultimately running the show. Trump's mouth was a bit of a loose cannon, but he was never allowed to DO anything that hurt the globalist agenda and ultimately he was used to rile up liberals and further consolidate the left and national security apparatus under Jewish control.

Yet he is miles above the democrats who are basically pedofiles.
