If a vaccine takes years to kill someone, what exactly is the purpose of prescribing it in the first place?

People are taking vaccines now because they want to be safe against a virus that exists today, and not 5 or 10 years later.

And that's what has lead to the supply/demand issue, because the market has determined it works, but there isn't enough of this miracle drug to go around.

With narcotics, it's the same idea. It's people who are looking for immediate pain relief, instead of dealing with it constantly forever. And that's perhaps where the overdose deaths come in, especially for someone who might be struggling with some kind of long term illness.

But vaccines are meant to eradicate disease, instead of prolonging them. So again, it's still not an inefficient means of culling people in large numbers, when they are designed for the complete opposite. Nobody really wants to put up with another Covid-like virus even 1 year from now.

If a child takes a vaccine and dies before reproducing, I would say that is an effective way to sterilize a population.

People are taking vaccines now because they want to be safe against a virus that exists today, and not 5 or 10 years later.

Vaccines don't eradicate a virus completely. They will mutate and some of them are carried by animals. Are you going to vaccine all the rats to stop the bubonic plague? There comes a point where you have to be practical and the fact they are pushing a impractical solution on everyone shows they have ulterior motivations.

Vaccines should be voluntary and targeted at groups that are at risk like old people or people with preexisting medical conditions that will put their life in danger from a contagious virus. Normal people that can struggle through a bad flu should not be forced to take a vaccine. What they should be trying to normalize is people taking sick days, wearing a mask if you think you have symptoms or just practicing cleanliness.

Unless you live in Africa, where adult mortality outpaces child birth by a long shot, it absolutely would not sterilize the population.

Only 9% of America's population falls under the Age of 18, and if this is a drug that still takes year to kill/sterilize people, than that's enough time for all the 16 year old's to have kids before they somehow start dropping off.

Then you're not following the news. Israel is pretty close to being completely vaccinated and they've gone weeks and even months without a new death. The most recent death that was reported yesterday actually came from an unvaccinated person, which is the equivalent of performing natural selection and removing yourself from the gene pool.

Edit: Correction. There where 2 deaths. A 48 year old man who wasn't vaccinated and an 86 year old who had his 2 shots. But look at the damn age difference. The younger and unvaxxed people are still at a higher risk of dying than an old man who was already on his way out anyway.

No, I refuse to see this reckless advice get pushed anymore. It only takes one infected person to get an entire meat factory or school shut down just because of how contagious the Covid virus is. It literally costs more money and human lives to try and "normalize" Covid, as opposed to eradicating the disease completely. The medicine is here, and it's proven to work with 99% efficiency. Ask yourself, when are the billions of people who have already taken the vaccine suppose to drop dead? Because that's the world you're literally hinging your bets on if you think everyone chose to commit suicide as opposed to being the ones who will actually outlive this pandemic.
