I thought the North Koreans were backwards rice farmers so opressed by their dictator they can barely get enough to eat.

There's huge class differences in North Korea, that's communism in practice.

But oppression destroys it.

You should question if the people in power here have enough control over the information you can access to completely control your perception of places you can't go to.

do they actually have normal people there? because seems it would have to be the north korean government stole 1.7b from world using shitty methods
