The US has never wholesale massacred its own civilians. The other two countries who want the job of global leader have. The US isn't perfect, but it's better than the alternatives.

I mean, if you don't consider millions of indigenous people who were on the land first to be "it's own civilians", then sure.

I got the same reply on Twitter. The US never killed millions of Natives. In a hundred years of war there were only ~11k killed. Their population collapsed largely on its own, and the deaths that did happen from European diseases were mostly unintentional.
