I agree. Presently there is not enough information to say what happens to the money. Just a small percentage going to ActBlue isn't a big deal, I think people are jumping on the "But if they don't claim the money, ActBlue gets it and then gets distributed how they see fit". That would be bad, but you can't prove that is actually happening because there isn't any public information to review.

It would be another thing if there was a direct link to show BLM directly giving money to a political organization because that alone would not allow them to keep their 501(c)(3) status per the IRS.

But ActBlue is a nonprofit too, so it's fine with the IRS. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ActBlue

Nonprofits are super-political these days quite frequently, and there's really no checks or balances enforced on that
