Jewish converso would imply a ethnic Jew or a Jesuit with Jewish ancestry or a convert that formerly practiced Judaism but humbly and with good faith practices Christianity and follows Christ.

A crypto-Jew or Marrano, would imply eithet a Jew pretending to be a Christian but secretly practicing Judaism for safety reasons or so as not to get expelled or a Jew secretly practicing Judaism while maintain a Christian caricature to subvert the church. In the latter case, these were the notable usurers and slave traders.
