    The bravery required to defend the free speech rights of people whose views you find abhorrent is nowhere to be found because the current day values 'lived experience' over principled action.

      From the wiki. The ACLU has become vile garbage, working against its once noble goals. I think their nonprofit status should be pulled for being a partisan entity now.

        ADL is basically a smear group at this point. I don't think people care as much about what they say as much as they once did either.

        ACLU has been involved in blatant misinformation.

        They have repeatedly referred to the Florida 'Don't Say Gay' bill as 'banning classroom discussion on gender' which is not true. It did ban making gender ideology an official topic of instruction for K-3rd grade, meaning it shouldnt be in the lesson plan, NOT that it can't be discussed. But the portrayal of this bill is simply inaccurate, on purpose. I don't think it is unreasonable to wait until kids find out santa isn't real to bring up the 9 different genders and 10 different sexual orientations of the new woke rainbow. This is ideology rather than established fact and I can certainly understand why parents might not want this
