Why I don't believe Saidit will be a free speech platform

Oh, now I get where my system wide ban from posting came from. When I asked about it I got "pyramid of debate" as the reason and it just seemed so WTF? So I made a mental note to not say a certain word on Saidit and created a new account.

I saw similar crap floated on Ruqqus. I mean either you're for free speech or you're not; can't have it both ways boys. VOAT has it's issues but at least you really can say whatever the fuck you want to there.

And to be clear I don't have an issue with moderated content necessarily. It's a thankless task and you are always going to get hate no matter what you do. And it can make for a better environment is certain circumstances. Note can, it's not a guarantee.

But it's not free speech.
