That's crazy. My cat Gizmo is enough of a danger for me at 17lbs. Imagine early man having nothing but a rock or maybe a spear if they were lucky to defend against these things.

ever see 2001 space odyssey ? the first part about the apes - a club is your friend - there it is a leopard menacing them - an ambush killer, but then comes the force multiplier - a tool ....

a symbolic scene in that movie is the next thing the apeman does is kill another ape with it, then as a transition the apeman throws the club into the air and it turns into a satellite --- but WHAT isnt made clear in the movie was that satellite was a nuclear weapon platform in orbit

I think that movie would have benefited from more judicious editing tbh, but I do recall.

I saw a video of a black lady throwing a whole shopping cart full of stolen meat into her trunk, it's kind of like the modern version.
