Canadians of Saidit, do you think that Canada should be more like America?

Why or why not? And if so, in what aspects?

Yes, they need to be less socialist and not have sky high taxes, and they need to stop imprisoning people over "hate speech", especially when it's completely arbitrary or the "hate speech" is for religious reasons.
Edit: oops, I'm not Canadian

Canada is already Americanized. When was the last time you even heard a canuck apologize?

Start by realizing that "America" is a continent with 38 countries and dozens of languages, and that Canada is on that continent.
There's a good first baby step for you.

Now will you provide a real response?

Am American, but have some relatives and ancestors from Canada. Canada is somewhat like the US, but in other aspects aren't. I think I like Canada for being Canada, and that's what I think makes every country in the world special. Like Namibia still is African, but has Dutch elements, Chile has Indigenous elements, but has Spanish elements as well, etc.
