I've read a few of them:

One Hundred Years of Solitude - Great storytelling, and my introduction to magic realism. Gets a little disjointed towards the end though.

The Brothers Karamazov - One of my favorite books, you really feel like you're there with the characters instead of reading about them. Fantastic take on the human condition.

Crime and Punishment - Can't go wrong with Dostoevsky, a really interesting and unsettling take on the psyche of a criminal

Hamlet - Read it back in school and remember really enjoying it despite my expectations. Probably due for a re-read.

I share you the very impression. those novels are something else. They seem to be in a mission to unfold the true nature of human beings and unfold the secret of their incongruous psyche. Thanks for the feedback.
