Naw. He's a WEF young global leader. He's a plant.

Oh, look, it's this account ... spouting the words that the Russian government would put into his mouth. Again.

What a weird coincidence this account keeps doing this over and over.

This account continually accuses anyone not down the rabbithole of the Trolls from Olgino of being paid. You should suspect as everyone else does that this is a paid account. You will notice its activity pick up with the US election cycle and the focus of the Russian influence on US politics.

[–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (16 children)

Right. Why do you think that?

[–]Canbot 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

Because the WEF realizes that their award is inharently an accusation of corruption so they use it to slander their opponents.

[–]Tom_Bombadil 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Maybe.

Libel by association.

I was mistaken. It was alleged that he was connected to Soros.

I briefly looked into the source, and it's somewhat dubious.

[–]ActuallyNot 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (11 children)

He's got some connection to Soros, in the sense that he's a fellow of Paul and Daisy Soros' fellowship of new Americans.

Dunno if that's enough to cinch your nutcase conspiracy theories, but Soros' charity spotted him some money towards his postgraduate education.

The only pattern I can see is every person they select is Asian.

Looks broader than that to me:

And as one can see with many South Asian-Americans, they or their parents (in Vivek's case) or grandparents originally benefitted from liberal or progressive policies, though after they had much more money, they were actively against liberal or progressive policies. This also relates to some of the Cuban-American voters. Anyhow, a brief search of his history and comments reveals that he's interested only in promoting himself, knowing that he's not likely to be a realistic presidential contender anytime soon. But Republicans liked Bobby Jindal, so they might like Vivek.

The answer is yes. And you're noticing this absolutely pathetic display of him talking to himself in this thread. Actually not and goldfish are the same person. The dude is an absolute sick, projecting, fucking fat worthless piece of shit. Who talks to themselves on a forum and then has the audacity to call everyone schizos? He's clearly mentally ill, he shows many, many signs of literal mental illness daily. I've had his fatass so twisted up he doesn't know whether he's coming or going. It's really funny and really, really sad at the same time. Not offering anything to the world other than sitting on a saidit forum all day has to be absolutely miserable.

    No.

Are you another Russian troll account?

Nobody believes that Russian troll bullshit anymore.

    You're a disinformation socks-slave-bot.

    [–]ActuallyNot 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

There's a lot of people in here that support the invasion of ukraine, and spread lies in support of Trump and against Biden.

And they spend a lot of time calling the rational voices "bots" or "paid accounts".

    You do the math, russkiy.

    [–]Tom_Bombadil 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

    Clearly math isn't your forte.

I get that same “Obama , Pete butjudge , CIA vibe”.

And he was a soros fellow, and the wef tried to add him to their list, which he declined.

The'll run some attack ads if he looks like he's got a chance.

Which at the moment is only if Trump's legal troubles remove him from the serious running.

    [–]turtlew0rk 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Nope. He has no chance of winning and is just giving us the illusion of a choice considering Israel.

Last I saw he was polling at 4%, Trump is in the 40s and DeSantis 20s.

Idk if it's good to have a Pajeet president. India may become our new most favored nation.

He's neck and neck (as in, within margin of error) with the book burner. Both 35 points behind the rapist and criminal.

It's looking more likely to me that Trump wins and then pardons himself from prison. Which great for the lulz and the memes but gonna be a shit show for the yanks.

I don't think the yanks are ready to really start killing each other over this yet. Though the camps are slowly circling the wagons. Give the current climate another generation or two to simmer and you'll get another civil war just like the last one. Some issue divides the US into two clear camps, and one doesn't accept how the presidential election plays out.

I saw people posting crap on Facebook like "never before has a US election been contested" bitch please what the fuck do you think happened when Lincoln won?

Besides your recent memory hole of, Trump's win in 2016 with the "not my president movement" trying to claim he cheated, or the electoral college should be post ex facto abolished and the election results changed.

Or perhaps you don't remember Obama's birth certificate and the people saying he wasn't qualified.

Or perhaps we should go back to 2001 where the election results were decided by the supreme court months after the election.

People have been trying to get the other guy disqualified for years. And each time it gets worse worse and the rhetoric gets more and more pointed. Long term trend , go watch old political attack adds, politics has never been clean and I'm not going to complain about a good verbal thrashing between candidates, but you can see the influence of the media on the tone and narrative of how elections are framed. Old television commercials were pretty simple, we've had years to perfect the art of propagandizing via television now. Social media is now in it's period of perfecting the propoganda game.

But just like death and taxes, if the other guy wins well all die also reigns as a universal truth.

It's looking more likely to me that Trump wins and then pardons himself from prison

He'll still be in prison in Georgia. No one can pardon him for those crimes, until 5 years after he's finished the sentence.

So he'll be running the country with an ankle-tag or from a Georgia prison. Which will be one for the history books.

If I read the 538 polls correctly, they have him slightly ahead of DeSantis in a two way race (for republican nomination), but further behind Trump than Desantis in each of their two-way races against Trump.

Which I guess puts him in pole position if Trump drops out.

I linked to an aggregation of opinion polls, in response to a discussion about how candidates were polling.

Remind me how you get from there to "US government"?
