They were all 12-15 years of age, definitely old enough to know not to do this.

The two juveniles were cited with misdemeanor fleeing police and disorderly conduct. One of the two juveniles was also charged with misdemeanor false information to police.

But no charges of violence? Nothing actually relating to the fact they were walking around looking to beat people up?

Also the original report says 7 people, but the later headlines say 10-12. Not sure where the larger numbers came from.

disorderly conduct is like shouting loudly late at night. menacing and violence being called disorderly conduct is misapplication of law by a corrupt prosecutor. there should be investigations

Hammers are a common, inexpensive, deadly weapon that are also unregulated tools. Anyone can buy one and if questioned about carrying one claim to be going to/from a work site.

Edit: hammers were a favorite of the Hell's Angels.

Many bikers customize their own bikes. There are numerous TV shows that are dedicated to motorcycle customization.

The symbol of a ball Peen hammer indicates a respect for the machinist craft. It's a crappy murder tool. Only an idiot would mug someone with a hammer. Knives are cheaper and deadlier.

If some teenager threatened me with a hammer then I'd laugh in his face, and then take that hammer and call the cops. Most adults could easily do this, and every teenager knows it.

This is a half-baked hoax that's intended to criminalize the children of a refugee community. It's disgraceful.

I agree that BBC is a propaganda machine. Arguably the first.

Either way, the fear mongering about stabbing murders is highly dubious.

Are these actually happening? They would be easy to stage, or just make up.
Most to the "mass shootings" in the us are state run police drills that are reported as incidents.

I can supply you with plenty of evidence if you're interested.

I suspect that the goal of all of this is to manufacture fear of "the other" in order to pass additional "Patriot Act" style laws and remove more freedom. If they've banned the sale of knives, then they're intentionally disarming the public.
You may want to go stock up on knives and hammers... JK!

But seriously. Are people truly frightened of stabbings from strangers? The British are far from cowardly. They love fighting and violence. It doesn't make sense.

We're not sure how many there were, but we can be absolutely certain that how ever many there were, all of them were Muslims and also Somali.
