That's the only problem some of these muslimic influenced states seem to have collectively in different intensity: Their men are sooo dependend and weak that they gotta oppress / suppress / gag their women. A clear sign of their weakness and dependence as men and obviously some of them are simply incapable of managing kids and a household themselves or they are just way to lazy. Maybe their ego then can't handle being humble or they are just idiots.

A bit simplistic.

In Arab countries men actually have to do a lot of chores which are considered women's work in the West because women aren't allowed out. And when the husband is out of the house the oldest son is in charge no matter how old he is so many women don't have responsibility for run the household either, rather they have to put up with their children telling them what to do. There's been a fair few cases of mothers being domestically abused and even killed by their sons in the middle east as they have that much power over them.

Yeah maybe. It's a shitty system for women anyway. I couldn't even imagine putting my hypothetical son over my gf, maybe soon to be wife.

With me smth. like this could never happen, but i agree that it is a question of culture.
