I see where he made his mistake. He thinks that American 'educational' institutions are there to 'educate' students. They are not. If students learn anything in college, it is purely by accident or because they took that initiative on their own.

These institutions exist to 'socialize' students, which is another way of saying 'domesticate'. Domesticate, in turn, is another way of saying 'enslave'. So forcing students to unquestioningly obey pointless and counterproductive, if not dangerous, rules, is exactly the way you socialize kids into becoming unthinking drones who follow rules and orders without question. And why wrongthink is so severely punished in these institutions.
