At this rate, the US is going to be the pariah nation after a few more of these events.

The Neo-libs are getting desperate I think, with Ukraine going badly. They needed another distraction. It looked to be working, so far. But if the region region flips to BRICS+, the Neo-libs are lost.

Sleepwalking Our Way Into World War Three

With this weaponization of the dollar, I think we've overplayed our hand. Weaponizing the dollar with sanctions. You're now seeing a lot of countries de-dollar their transactions because we've sort of forced it. This goes beyond Russia, China, and Iran because countries like Brazil or India still want to transact with Russia and they can't do it with dollars, so we've forced them to de-dollarize their transactions, thus weakening the strength of the dollar in the world.

What's so telling is that BRICS has been around for over a decade and has been expanding its reach in plain view over the past several years. It astounds me that average people who stay informed saw this coming. I suppose it isn't that the neolibs didn't see it but that they were as dismissive of its ever having a significant impact as the neocons have been about the resilience of Russia's economy and capacity to become more militarily powerful than they've been since the 1980s.
