Fighting the USSR (if indeed he did) is not what made Hunka a Nazi. It was his burning desire to rid his town of Jews, that led to his joining an all-volunteer division of the Waffen SS, which is now notorious for their incredible brutality and body count in their quest to rid Ukraine of untermenschen, namely Poles, Russians, Jews, Roma and other Ukrainians from areas closer to Russia.

That kinda does make him a Nazi, IMHO. Also in the opinion of the Nurenberg court.

The US government (and the west in general) has always been comfortable supporting and funding RW fascists, Religious fundamentalists and Nazis...etc. (AGAINST local popular support in said countries), provided they "benefitted" them in some way (i.e. $$$$$) .

I'm just happy that the Canada situation is making more and more people aware of the history of the so called "Liberal" and so called "Left" countries and politicians when it comes to that bullshit, since there used to be a time we'd get laughed at for pointing it out.

Actually come to think of it, let's play a game; Fascism is considered the merger of state and capital, and generally required the subjugation of some groups with the "elevation" of other groups.

Well in the post WW2 globalized world we live in, it's safe to say that the world is split into the US and its "vassal states", and the "others".

I doubt anyone here thinks that the US hasn't been completely regulatorily captured at this point by corporations and the rich, but at least on paper, there isn't subjugation locally of any specific group (except of course the poor and lower middle class, but for the sake of argument, ignore those for a mere moment), so at least locally, the "Fascism" label doesn't fully apply.

But if you look at it globally, it absolutely applies IMO. We subjugate "vassal states" and their citizens CONSTANTLY to benefit a specific group (uber rich Americans, and to a far far lesser extent, Americans), either via bombing them, or coup'ing them (with ultra RW'ers in charge of course), to sanctions...etc.

So yeah, if you look at it globally, this is just business as usual.

Agreed. But now the US elite's war has extended to all other Americans.

It's always been.

The business plot was because the rich didn't like the plebs having rights and wanted to replace the government with a fascist government. No one was arrested for it.

The Powell Memo (a blueprint for what's happened over the last few decades) specifically targeted citizen activists (and more specifically Ralph Nader) because they were pissed the masses were "uppity" and fighting back.

The main reason the US and the west got away with this shit for so long globally was because locals didn't really experience it, but now they are because the gluttonous class has no limit to their gluttony.

The Powell Memo in particular is quite interesting, because if you read through it you realize, EVERY single "Target" listed in the Memo has been captured or otherwise neutralized (such as the media), and everything the memo said the chamber of commerce should do to "fight back" has been done and then some, Even a lot of the current "talking points" parrot the memo as well (including attacks on "social sciences").

They literally openly said they're going to do this shit, and not enough people paid attention, and millions of both so called "Leftists" and "Liberals" as well as so called "Conservatives" fell (and continue to fall) for it.
