I no longer have the energy or investment in Bernie or ANY aspect of our political and voting systems to care.

This was clearly the trajectory in May 2016, and any disappointment or rage or betrayal is long past.

100% cuck. I can’t believe I ever listened to a word this man said. Disgusting.

He, like Trump, caught lighting in a bottle. Unlike Trump, he had little spine or conviction. Sure looks to me like it was all about HIM not US.

“There is a real question whether democracy is going to remain in the United States of America,” Sanders said.

This is from a man who lost the primary because DNC collude with Hillary

Another "look over there"/distraction post - heatsinking commenters & readers without them even realizing it

Turns out that Joe Biden really is Bernie's "good friend". And let's not forget, he was one of the first people out of the gate to endorse Joey B for president. He must fulfill his duty as Democratic Party Sheepherder for 2024.

His transformation is now complete. Fuck him.

I think we’ve got to bring the entire progressive community to defeat Trump or whoever the Republican nominee will be

Progressives are now the problem being completely subservient to power in exchange for toxic identity politics. The resistance is currently 100% on the right.

Transformation? This is who he was in 99. That's why I was kinda on the ropes about him in 2015 and was willing to go Jill Stein when he flopped again.

I still find it disorienting sometimes, like the whole planet tilted and it only occasionally catches up with me.

"Far right extremists" agitating for peace and the "progressive left" shouting furiously about traitorous Russian sympathizers.

tf, man.

Yeah, the whole "left/right" thing has never meant less than it does right now...

It was always used as a distraction from the top/bottom war, by design, but they've spun that distraction so much that it's now spinning straight into the garbage where it belongs. Might end up being a good thing ultimately, if we ever find a way to stop circling the drain.

Agreed. The Fourth Turning is so fucked up.

"Sanders hits at Cornel West over criticism of Biden"

How about

"Sanders hits at Cornel West over telling truth Biden"

Good Boy Bernie. You appear to be quite content at the end of that blue leash you're tethered to.

That's the way to protect the hands that feed you ol' fella...

"I think we’ve got to bring the entire progressive community to defeat Trump or whoever the Republican nominee will be, [and] support Biden,” Sanders said on CNN’s “State of the Union.”

However, progressives still must “demand that the Democratic Party, not just Biden, have the guts to take on corporate greed and the massive levels of income and wealth inequality that we see today,” Sanders added.

Look, it makes perfect sense. All you have to do to get what you want is display unquestioning and unconditional subservience. Kneeling provides leverage.

Only if you use it to launch yourself at the idiot you're acting subservient to - crouching would be better.

Hey, shithead: You're supporting the party that is destroying democracy in USA. So STFU if you care about democracy. Better yet, speak out against the attacks on democracy, starting at the top, like Cornel West is doing.

“There is a real question whether democracy is going to remain in the United States of America,” Sanders said.

“There is a real question whether democracy is going to remain in the United States of America,” Sanders said.

When asked to defend Democracy. Bernie declined.

Cornel West, on the other hand, persisted.

Shut the fuck up Bernie.
