Edit: JFC everyone needs to listen to this. This attack on him is the worst McCarthyism witchhunt and blacklisting. The academic system and the justice system are disgustingly fascist. The blatant defamation and censorship without any recourse is unbelievable. Fucking nazis.

I do wonder what the process for investigation is.

Which individual decided he should be investigated? Why did the admin go along with it?

Couldn't possibly have anything to do with the Board of Trustees being a slice of the oligarchy. Or perhaps a donor offered to step up a donation if pressure was brought to bear.

Miller does talk about a student who supposedly started the ball rolling. I'd really like to know who this person was. It's really mind-blowing how this student was the reason he left NYU.

You would think that a university would know that propaganda can be true or false.

propaganda prŏp″ə-găn′də noun

The systematic propagation of a doctrine or cause or of information reflecting the views and interests of those advocating such a doctrine or cause.

Material disseminated by the advocates or opponents of a doctrine or cause.

A committee of cardinals (Congregation de Propaganda Fide, ‘for propagating the faith’) which has the supervision of foreign missions in the Roman Catholic Church.

For those who may be interested, the Corbett Report did a broadcast with MCM a while back called How to Disarm Propaganda that's well worth the watch.

Great stuff. I had just been commenting on a different thread about all the neutral people who were trampled once their neutrality displeased the establishment:

Rogan, Taibbi, Dore, Greenwald...and more recently judge Doughty and the CEFC whistleblower and now Miller

I agree with his First Amendment stance, but I don't know enough about Doughty to say that he is neutral.

I believe that Greenwald, Taibbi and Dore are like most former Democrats, including me, in that we were always fed up with Republicans, so we verbalize that less than we verbalize being fed up with Democrats. However, we are fed up with both those parties (and maybe also with all politicians).

I'm sure Doughty is conservative since he was a GOP appointee, but he was confirmed 98-0 which says alot.

Well, we know he is a Republican, given that Bush nominated him; and, unlike Eisenhower, it's unlikely that Bush would have nominated any Democrats to the federal bench. But I know conservatives who would argue that Bush was no conservative.

and Tucker too, though he's partisan. He is however an independent partisan whose independence pissed off the establishment.
