"I Am Democracy!"

Now how do they solve the Kamala problem?

That's a quandary and why Biden hasn't already been forced out. It will be interesting to see their machinations unfold.

why Biden hasn't already been forced out.

Timing. The person behind the forcing doesn't want too much time for other candidates to get a running start.

Good point. It would be interesting to see theories on how exactly they'll get Biden out without letting Kamala in.

out without letting Kamala in.

It'll be easy. No one likes her. She was only there as an insurance policy anyway, in case Biden's dirty laundry got out early. The GOP would never chance a President Kamala.

Well, yes, but how is the question. She would have to agree to step aside if they took out Biden, giving some plausible excuse. Imagine the hue and cry otherwise over the first black woman VP being cheated out of what her position would traditionally entitle her to.

She's the Dem's Dan Quyale. All it would take is a failure of the large Dem donors to appear, and no one, including the media, would question anything as she simply faded away.

Always the deciding factor.

"for medical reasons"

She'll accept a position on the Clinton Foundation board, among a few others.

Yeah, but the HOUSE has to approve a VP appointment. And if vacant, the Speaker becomes POTUS>

Yes, Robert Barnes pointed this out. He suggested they could try to get Kamala to bow out while Biden is still president, have him choose someone like Buttigieg for VP and then have Biden bow out before the elections. They've certainly got enough dirt on Biden to make him do whatever they want.

He thought they might try something like this before the midterms but they obviously didn't. Still, Biden becomes a huger liability to Democrats and their paymasters with every passing day, with Trump looming in the wings and likely GOP contenders to keep him from gaining public support. Biden would be an easy scapegoat for the economy and the proxy war in Ukraine.

They always have. It was a feature, not a bug.

Yeah, it's like the required portfolio to get in the door, only it's compiled by the bosses instead of by the aspirants.
