In this witness video, a truck towing another truck can be seen moving along its way. On its side are two men. Just as the truck gains speed, the two of them make a run for it and try to hitch a ride on the truck. The first guy fails, as his leg gets caught by the wheel and he then gets crushed by the truck. The other guy survives and actually manages to get on the truck. Witnesses then express their shock, with one guy making hand gestures as if to say "I knew that was gonna happen, that's why I never hitch rides on moving trucks!"

A similar thing happened to a guy I went to school with. He tried to hitch a ride on a whisky tanker and fell under the wheels. He never died, but got a crushed pelvis and legs.
