You sound like you carry some guilt around eating animal products and are extremely insecure when confronted with vegans who - in your own words - are morally superior.

LOL no. I love meat, and would raise, kill and butcher my own meat if it were in the least bit plausible.

They informed themselves on the subjects of factory farming, climate change and the ethics of eating sentient beings and made a tough but much needed change in their lives & on the other hand there's you who clearly wouldn't be able to commit to such a change

That's why vegans get such pushback: their self-perceived moral superiority enables them to scorn others, and when those others scorn back, it is received with genuine outrage.
