So we can tell everyone to socially distance for years, but we can't tell 'certain' people not to have indiscriminate sex. Masks forever, condoms never. Oh and don't call it Monkeypox cause that's stigmatizing

Great comment. Similarly how you were a murderer for wanting to take your children to the fucking park, while blacks and Jewish communists rioting and destroying parts of cities was considered just fine.

Like everything else these days, the privileged groups (and their muscle) got to live by one set of rules during Covid, and the rest of us had to deal with the draconian ones the first group chose to impose.

People in my area (blue suburb of deep blue city) STILL wear fucking masks. They can’t let go of Covid and I think some of them actually miss those days.

Yeah I used to see signs that read "I mask as an acknowledgement of my power and privilege". Yup sounds like a legitimate public health policy.

Yeah, and when you’d see videos of a Covidian freaking out in public because someone wasn’t masked, their reaction wasn’t driven by fear of the virus spreading. It was because they felt the other person was being “disobedient”. Which fully lines up with the fact that being compliant and social manipulation are the only things these people are any good at.

Which is why they were the bitter clingers when restrictions were eliminated and people just moved on with their lives. These people peaked during the pandemic and it’s not been the same for them since.

Precisely and never forget they were so desperate not to do a hate, that they mistook swollen penises and sore anuses and rectums as new symptoms of monkeypox.

Article

New clinical presentations of monkeypox infection were identified, including rectal pain and penile oedema. These presentations should be included in public health messaging to aid early diagnosis and reduce onward transmission.

Who was that gay author who wrote about how indiscriminate unprotected sex was like, a liberatory and political necessity for gay men? There was a huge backlash when How to Have Sex in an Epidemic came out precisely because being disgusting and degenerate was The Point to so many.
