A very old idea but one that has several issues.

One commits gay heresy by assuming that one can encourage people to be gay or not. Now personally I think the idea that Sexuality is totally set for everyone period is dumb as fuck but that's the orthodoxy they went with so they get to sleep in the grave they dug.

Second, anyone who understands demographics understands and has understood for a long time that the overpopulation argument doesn't hold water. If anything there's more a worry of population collapse.
