I think we have a very different understanding of what her place is. If a 60 year old woman calls you a mean name, power bombing her is probably an over the top response... And should lose you your job and earn you some gaol time.

That wouldn't curb their behavior. They see this action as completely justified and the prospect of unemployment and jail is not threatening because prison time is like a rite of passage in their culture. It would not be a punishment to them but a temporary loss of freedom in exchange for eternal martyrdom and street cred.
