Whilst I agree with the findings, unfortunately, The American College of Pediatricians is not a serious medial college. It was founded as a protest against gay rights has few members and seems to churn out anti-abortion and anti-gay articles.
You might agree with everything they say, but the trouble is they are extremely untrustworthy as they wouldn’t report any findings contrary to their political opinion. They’re the same as all the woke shitfiddles, except the other side.

Worst of all, their reputation can be used to destroy anyone who uses them as a reference in an argument.

Oh, that's unfortunate. I thought this was a serious org that had finally found the balls to do the right thing, just like similar organisations have done in Europe.

I wouldnt feel too bad. That’s what a lot of people seem to have been tricked into thinking, I’ve seen people who really should know better quoting them without realising.

Still, I'd bet there's some truth to the findings. People go into sex change surgery thinking it's a miracle silver-bullet cure to their unhappiness because that's what the TRAs and groomers have told them. Then they wake up in the hospital with mutilated genitals only to find that it's done jack-shit to help their anxiety and depression. And now they're disfigured on top of it.

The findings could well be 100% true, but they’re fruit of the poisoned tree.

You use that organisation’s research in any discussion and you’ll be yeeting your own credibility and handing your opponent a massive stick to beat you with.

I mean their opposing org, AAP, has long since been hijacked by ideologues so it's not like you can cite them either. Really there are no perfectly credible information sources anymore and we're all pretty fucked.

The fact that every agency and organisation has been captured by the gender/DEI/etc shit is a disaster that will take a generation to undo.
