Huh, this might be one of those rare cases when the trans in question is legitimately trans and not just another fetishist living their dream (and every else's nightmare).

What is "legitimately" trans and what is not?

Crossed wires in the brain leaves them feeling wrong. They know they're not, and never will be, what they presenting themselves as, but they try their best to live accordingly and they make serious efforts to pass. They transition as adults, and don't go doctor shopping to find someone who will wave off the checks that TRAs have worked so hard to demolish. And they don't make a point of rubbing everyone's face in the fact that they're trans.

Not? That's the fetishists talking about their euphoria boners and how dressing like a slut makes them feel like a "real" woman. It's the people who not only don't pass, but don't even put in the effort to try, because they want to force everyone else to validate their claimed identity even in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary. It's the (mostly MtF) sports cheats who argue vehemently that a few years on titty skittles totally negates the decades of male physiological development. It's the ones who make sure that the whole world never forgets for a moment that their trans, that scream loudly how millions of trans people are being killed every single day, and that they have the solemn right to mess with the health and welfare of children in the name of their cause.

I used to think these were the two groups too, but lately I'm concerned that the first category might be something like internalized homophobia or some other weird, but chronic, mental trap. I actually think there are 4 groups

  • Group 1: AGP on speed: Narcissistic trolls. These will be the Jessica Yanivs of the world.
  • Group 2: AGP. A sexual fetish that due to TRA people lean a bit too much into.
  • Group 3: Easily manipulated youth and young adults with mental health issues or autism. These include rapid onset gender dysphoria etc.
  • Group 4: Gay kids who are easily manipulated/tricked and trapped by TRA "theories"

All long-time studies of children with gender dysphoria (Tavistock, Scandinavian studies, they're not many, they have flaws, but they are all we got) have shown that these children in 90%+ of cases grow up to accept their sex as their gender and turn out to be gay. So your argument is that ~10% of these kids are "truly" trans, but I am leaning to them just never getting to the acceptance stage for some reason. I do however think that this distinction does not matter for how they should ideally be treated with regards to policy and legislation. Let them live as chosen "gender", but let's keep certain biological categories a matter of "sex" (sports, jails etc). The problem is that when you open up for these people to live as chosen gender, it opens the door for all the other groups to force themselves in through the same opening. We can't actually test for category 4. It's all or nothing. And "all" is currently shredding institutions and societal fabrics apart.

I don't think that true trans are actually a thing. I think maybe a few years ago there used to be a more positive public perception of them because there were fewer of them and they were less obnoxious, but they were no less fetishistic men or abused gays than they are now. They just hid it better, had more shame. But all their hard drives look the same.
