I always looked at The Root as the black community's answer (in an "I know you are, but what am I" type of way) to The Daily Stormer. I have yet, in my admittedly infrequent exposures to that rag, been proven wrong.

their Clinton endorsement was a hoot: "yes, she cheated; yes, her record and policies are worse for us Foundational Americans; yes, she might lose against Trump; but her opponents' supporters are ofay and it's about high time they learned what it's like to be cheated out of an election!"

or the David Duke-Farrakhan bromance (they didn't like Irv Rubin, but admired his commitment to having all the Jews leave their countries)

Which was just an Electric Boogaloo continuation of the earlier detente between the Nation of Islam and the American Nazi Party. I suspect that, had he not been killed by one of his own, George Rockwell (ANP founder) would have gone as far as his own beliefs would have allowed to work with the NoI to pursue their common goals (enforced segregation between whites and black, removal of the Jew from all positions of influence or effect over either race).
