And to say that ignoring that more and more people - both men and women- are perfectly fine with just short flings, and that most people in this world truly only see the other person as a prop. They don't care if their partner is a good long-term partner, if they can help the family out, if they can make money to give them a good life...and secretly, they don't even care if the sex is all that good; because in the social media/hookup era, all that matters to people is "would this person look good as a prop on my Instagram page and make all my friends/followers jealous I get to go home to that?"

It is less a man/woman thing in society, or even a hookup culture thing, and more a "social media has made everyone so self-centered they've crossed over to becoming openly evil", and all of society now is reaping the results of this.

You are projecting what men have always thought (flings are cool) onto women. The only women who want flings are prostitutes who need money. While men always were into flings. This is why dating apps end up filled of 90% men and 10% prostitutes: the normal women leave when the men make the app only about flings.

Ah yes, because the fact dating apps went from coming into existence to "you have to do all of your dating search through dating apps and ONLY dating apps. Literally anything else: Talking to that person you see at the bookstore or grocery store, asking a friend to set you up, talking to that person you meet at a party- all of them are the same as raping them" in about six months is all because of men. All those poor women were tricked into these flings and literally no woman in the world who isn't a prostitute has ever used them. You're basically saying women have no agency, which makes you the real misogynist to claim that.

If there's one thing the last decade has proven, it's that women are fine with flings too as long as they know it's a fling.

It's funny how you completely ignored my comment and went on some insane stream-of-consciousness personal rant that has nothing to do with what I wrote.

By ignoring my explanation of why only women who are there for money are still using dating apps (women don't want flings, so when dating apps became about flings, they left) you can keep projecting a man's way of thinking into a woman, once more. I wonder why is it that women understand how men think but many men have absolutely zero idea how women think.

Well it's equal, since clearly you have zero idea how women who are not exactly like you in every single way, shape, and form think and cannot possibly fathom that the reason these apps succeed is because women are like that.

To put it simply: To say that dating apps are only used by prostitutes now, while ignoring how they've overtaken every form of dating, is to say literally every woman on earth but you is a whore. And if that's the case, you're the misogynist here.

Perhaps if you touched grass and spent some time in the real world, you'll find 98-99% of couples met in normal ways, not dating apps. Heck, I'm not American, perhaps in America those things are used more since that country is so backwards.... but I'd still wager it wouldn't make more than 5% of couples.
