I've seen this a lot, and it's always sad to see. It just shows how far gone the generation is.

It doesn't seem to exist in gay circles, though, which is somehow even worse. They all just treat sex like a handshake. Very sad.

I think it's just the desperate need for a special label. You can't just be "Normal and healthy and looking for a long term partner", you have be "Demi-sexual, Omega-Romantic, Grey-Semi-Queer AFAB". I don't think these obsessive, social media brainwashed kids who spend all day talking about their victim status are out there getting laid every night at a club. They are too busy staying home posting about how scared they are to leave their home, but how freeing sex is and how they should be allowed to have it with anything at any time.

Like most of their personalities, this idea that they are into hookup culture really deeply is more fantasy then reality.
