This isn't necessarily a trans operation. Women with PCOS get it too.

PCOS is fairly common in women and I have never heard or one having this surgery or seeing it advertised by plastic surgeons.

It's only done if it's severe enough to change the hairline to a male one. And even then sometimes it's unnecessary.
