Canada is so progressive that it can't properly categorize men and women! So inspirational.

It’s a really weird decision by the ICC (International Cricket Council) to allow troons to play in women’s competition. Throwing, after lifting, is just about the best example of how men have an anatomical advantage over women, and no amount of testosterone suppression is going to alter shoulder structure and arm length. Add on hand size (catching), and upper body strength (batting) and reach (running into the crease) and even I, not particularly knowledgeable about cricket, can see that there might be something amiss with letting the troons play with the women. I mean it just occurred to me that his bat size is going to be larger than the women’s, meaning he will be able to hit it both harder due to upper body strength and with more mechanical advantage due to the increased distance between the grip and the bat’s sweet spot.

The ICC fucked up on this in a major way.

People “knowledgeable about cricket” can quote stats from Wisden about the 1978 county test match season and pre-WWI bowling stats for The Ashes. I am simply someone who will watch a match when it’s on or go to a match if a friend offers a free ticket.

Dude, even I know that those folks love them some cricket. For you to be essentially be a casual about it, that's almost right up there with a Hindu eating a big platter of beef. I sincerely pray that they never learn of your heresy.
