But when he was 13 he was probably one of those kids that said he should have the right even though he was not of age to give consent. Now that the sour grapes have set in (pun intended), why do I care? The problem isn't detransitioning, the problem is removing the safe environment for children to grow in by denying parental rights to determine what is best.

They did so because they drank the rainbow kool-aid. Who planted the idea that their kids needed to transition? Schools and universities. And they did so with no academic rigor whatsoever. I'm convinced it's Big Pharma pushing this narrative. Just look at the profits they're rolling in when it comes to gender-affirming care.
