Murdered by the state. But it definitely calls into the question the wisdom of affirming the gender disphoria. If the logic is affirm or they'll kill themselves. So you remove them from the home, affirm them, and they kill themselves anyway. What exactly have they accomplished?

Anyway that CPS agent once they removed the kid now is morally responsible for the child's death.

The CPS agent sure, but I also blame everyone involved up the chain. Including the CPS administration, CA policy and lawmakers, and the lobby groups and gender ideologues who have poisoned the world with this social disease. They all have blood on their hands.

I agree. The ultimate outcome itself is damning. But even before that happens people have to step back and ask "is it a good idea to remove someone from their family merely because they won't accept their pronouns and name".

Let's be real here, if you are willing to kill yourself because people call you she instead of he, that's really a you problem.

What is the endgame for the CPS people? Personally if my kid decided they wanted to go live with a foster home instead because I'm not affirming of their "life choice" I'd just say whatever live how you want, still not affirming, and disown them.

I don’t think the people running CPS see it like that.

They truly believe, because it has been drummed into them throughout their training as social workers and continuing professional education, that affirmation is life-saving and a family that refuses to affirm a trans identifying child is literally a threat on the life of the child.

There is no debating or discussing of evidence, post-modernism has elevated lived experience as the highest form of argument and denial of lived experience as a crime akin to physical assault.

So they, just like CS Lewis’ benevolent tyrants, truly believe that they are acting in the best interests of the child because they have been fully inducted into the catechism of the trans ideology by very, very effective cult programming.

You need only look at the results to give evidence to the contrary.

Boiling away superfluous information here the core of what happened is this. State removes depressed teen from home. Depressed teen suicides.

Cult programming is a hell of a drug.

It can switch your perceptions of reality, and in this case it convinces these monsters that any evidence contrary to their catechism is vile transphobic heresy that aims to genocide trans people.

The language that the TRAs use is bizarre, but it’s not really meant for normies, it’s their creed, their declaration of faith. You’re not merely disagreeing, you’re denying their right to exist. It’s not medical and surgical intervention, it’s gender affirming care. It’s not acting out a delusion, it’s being your authentic self.

Literally every other mental health condition with similar symptoms would be treated with therapy and not affirmation, but these particular sufferers of a delusion have been singled out as being special.

The language they use shifts constantly so you can never exactly nail down what is being talked about. You see it in the sex vs gender distinction argument, where they try to divorce both concepts yet afterwards cannot seem to keep them straight themselves. There's very little consistency behind it because it's entire concept itself is fundamentally flawed. There's no real substance towards any concept of gender identity as separate from sex anymore than there's real substance behind astrological signs or "what TV character are you" Facebook quizes.

If someone says "I feel like a boy" then the next basic question to ask is why? I've yet to see compelling answers to that sort of question that don't stray into the realm of sex based stereotypes. I'd honestly not really care if someone merely says they feel like a boy since it's meaningless, or if they want to forgo more feminine lines of expression and express and conduct themselves in a more "masculine manner" but I find the very idea that you have to change your identity just so you can express yourself as you wish as ludicrously sexist. It's like saying that "all women must do X" so since I am not X I must instead be Y.

At best what we see currently is a fashion trend amongst women who aren't "conventionally attractive" or for whatever reason gravitate towards whatever avant garde fashion trend is currently in vogue, the problem is this fashion trend involves using drugs and surgical alterations that an all too eager profit driven medical lobby is keen on exploiting by claiming the alternative is suicide. Imagine if that is applied to literally anything else.

But that ties to the "they have blood on their hands for this decision"- when you're that in tune to the gender cult, you're not only blameless, but in their opinion, it becomes "well, if the birth parents had only affirmed them first, they wouldn't have done it- unfortunately, the damage had been done before we stepped in."
