UhI'm very much against some of the behavior mentioned here if true. Specifically throwing things at people. Can't lead to anything good.

Personally I think one of the biggest countwr protests you could possibly do for such an event is to simply have everyone ignore the fuck out of it.

Of course playing the game by their rules works as well. Make a straight pride flag or a super-straight pride flag or something put it up then when it gets taken down or vandalized cry oppression.

Thing is, progressives/lefties have amply demonstrated that their first response is to cry "assault" when they get any level of pushback. So while I could see dumbass kids doing it, I'm still inclined to doubt by default until actual evidence appears.

Hence why I specified "if true".

I can't support literal assault against protestors. But if that "literal assault" is people saying "I don't agree with you" much like with the boy who cried wolf if you are actually assaulted in the future I'll just assume someone sneezed in your general direction.
