The creepy weebs never seem to realize (or care) that their own creepy and cringey behavior actual drives people away from the anime fandom. I have friends who like anime but keep quiet about liking anime and wouldn't touch the fandom with a 150-ft pole. They also avoid anime conventions like the plague.

All in all it seems the fandom has degenerated into a hugbox where these creepy fuckers encourage one another to be as cringey and depraved as AF.
