Leaving aside the entire anime silliness, there are women who are small--in height and size--which results in their partners getting some hard looks. And there's also one woman, fully adult by age, who looks like an actual (young) teen because of some fucked up shit that she had as a child which effectively stopped her physical development past a certain point. Her partner was flat called out as a pedo getting his fix legally.

And while I don't doubt there are guys who specifically look for women who are close what they would actually prefer, I'm more inclined to see the people constantly pointing at this as the ones with the problem. Same as the people who like to obsess over the age of DiCaprio's girlfriends, the fixation on counting up the years says more about them than him.

Weebs are generally insane. Hasn't changed much. Years back they had a massive spat on a CNN piece that went to Akihabara and found a ton of lurid shit in the shops there. Which would surprise nobody who had actually been there. This shit linked here? Tame as fuck compared to the shit they sell. There's a creepy as fuck underage fetish and back a decade ago it was a lot more common to see.

Loads of examples. They basically all freaked out when CNN said there was a lot of hentai because they didn't want public awareness of the fact they are perverts and purposely conflated all anime with the hentai shit as a way to defend their "hobby".

Recently there was a bit of a spat in the culture way around Anime again when Matt Walsh called anime satanic, the response from the weebs was predictably hilarious.

When you go into a shop and you see a sex toy designed to simulate a pre-pubescent girls genitalia I think you have a problem. But you know, that's exactly the same as Pokemon in the mind of a crazy sex obsessed weeb.

I think the main problem is these kids start using the cartoons as a substitute for having actual friends and they just never grow up. The whole anime industry is also hyper capitalistic and very much geared on merchandising. Got that with the whole anime figure market, won't knock people who buy them too much but I can't really see the appeal of buying a bunch of sexy woman figures for 50 dollars a pop unless you are actively attempting to scare off your potential dates. It seems to me they've found a way to capitalize and profit off of the male sex drive by capturing the attention of socially awkward types.

I know that Australia has had some brainlet moments in their various laws and legislation, but I didn't even know that this was one of them. Kind of leaves me wondering if the politicians there are getting high off spider venom or something.

Uh, just for clarification, but that's not at all what I always feared, which is that the kudzu mass a few miles down the road from my house will eventually reach where I live, forcing me into a daily battle to keep from being engulfed by it.

Well, at least it's pretty straightforward. Just get a big dude with a neckbeard who you can claim is a Greek god who let himself go and hook him up with some hippie-looking 8 year old; if Greek mythology told me anything the forest nymph will be angered after he knocks her up and leave, taking the kudzu with her.

Even then, part of being an anime fan is the knowledge there's a world of difference between, say, the Uzaki-chan "she's a college student, she's of age and everyone admits she's of age, but her being short and having big breasts rustles people's jimmies" and the "thousand year old mythological creature who looks like an 8 year old" shit. The former is the "no, the complainers are the problem", the latter is the "...you don't have to be Nagatoro-san to say how sus that is."
