If you literally just look at black people in Africa right now they are half the size of black people in America.

The average African is half the size of everyone in America. There's an obesity epidemic across all ethnicities. Particularly in impoverished populations.

Even the children are fat.

Because all Americans are being poisoned by processed foods, etc. And normal physical activity is at near-record lows.

Find a photo of any American from before 1980, and they'll have a normal body type.

Being overweight by 20 lbs was considered fat, and shameful in those times.

You are cherry picking young people though.

If I go back through my family photos among the olds and middle aged there were a fair amount of fatties. Not American sized fats, that wasn't a thing.

We're they that fat though? I was looking through childhood photos a few years back. And the photos of my friend who was the fattest kid in our class were of a very normal looking kid. In the 80s we all saw her as fat but now she would be utterly unremarkable. I wouldn't even think of the kid in the photo as fat except that I lived through thinking of her as fat.
