They’ve had some truly terrible advice from their advertising and marketing consultants. Look out for a change in whichever company Anheuser-Busch employs to do their online marketing and some job vacancies in said company.

It's baffling like what's the target market for this? Left coast liberal types? They think "huh this is the market that doesn't drink bud better target them?"

I’m not au fait with the beer choices of Americans, but even if it was something that might be drunk by the fans of that guy, they’re such a small demographic and that guy is hated by far more people that there's no upside to touching that third rail.

I think that this points to further evidence of the capture of advertising and marketing by the woke who a place ideology above profit- see Disney for another example of ideology over profits.

Americans you're either a redneck drinking your light beers from a cooler in the parking lot or you're a beer snob drinking some IPA and pretending it's sophisticated and unique compared to the other 50 million craft IPA put there. Usually the bud drinkers fit the "I don't like to try new fancy shit" picky eater category while the IPA snobs come off as "I dislike fun".

Personally I'll take a stout as that's a surefire way to make most every American feel the need to interject about how much they despise your choice of inebriation.

Blue Moon is pretty good though. Definitely one of the better American beer offerings.

Bud Light is like the, diet coke of beer. I prefer it to regular Budweiser since it's far less disgusting. But you might as well be drinking tea at that point.

Like I went to one of those American sports games and thought I'd go for a pint. And they wanted 10 fucking dollars for a half pint of bud light? Mad fuckers. I asked for an empty cup so I can just piss in it myself.

Anyone who's ever tried his hand at brewing has little respect for fancy IPAs. I made one for my second batch, messed it up pretty badly (the pot boiled over), and it turned out just fine.

I like IPAs but ANY IDIOT can make a good IPA!

My twitter feed has been filled with Bud Light for the last 3 days.

This was a very smart move on their part.

But can anyone tell me what makes it light? I don't get it. Is it lower alcohol or something?

It's "light" because it has fewer calories. The problem is that it's disgusting and sometimes compared to "drinking piss".
