I'm not sure the "trans kids" are much more than parents trying to make their kid into the gender they wanted but didn't it. It's pretty toxic but we've seen it happen before. Some mother wants a daughter but has a son has a mental break and makes their son act like a daughter instead.

Beyond that there's the psychological condition where someone believes themselves to be the other sex. Possible caused by the above trauma. Possibly caused by an inability to reconcile with their homosexuality. Or possibly caused simply by some other generic brand of crazy that we don't really understand.

Autism you see it happen a lot. I think it's a lot of grooming going on in that case though.
