Banning people from disagreeing with their current stage of cultural erosion is textbook leftism, as is hypocritically claiming to be working for "equality" while making conditions far worse.
So yes, these people and liberals in general are extremely leftist, unless your definition of leftism discounts every single historical application of Leftism.
