Well that was cringe... JKR isn't a "transphobe" for telling the truth and standing up for women, none of what she said should be controversial.

"Transphobia" is sort of like blasphemy, it's only a thing if you're a member of the cult.

Oof, that's a sad attempt at humour from the Onion

It wasn't humor. At no point was humor attempted. It's just rage that they can't control what other people think and say.

They're good at writing things like this, where they put words into the mouths of dissidents, words they didn't say and didn't mean. But it's what they felt you said. And that's what they get angry at.

In order to properly parody JK Rowling you'd have to read a lot of what she has written, and well if you read what she's written the narrative starts to fall apart, so naturally anyone going hard against her is going to be comitting what is essentially the sin of defiling themselves with the words of the enemy if they want to make good content.

This just reads like, a bunch of dumb twitter takes done from her perspective? Pretty lame. But the onion kinda is hobbled in it's comedy by the whole "fake news" fears for years now. Not as funny as it used to be.

The worst crime of this is that it simply isn't funny. Like not even in a pandering to the crowd way and anyone saying it is funny, is lying because they're the crowd being pandered to

They looked at SNL failing and said, “hold my beer”.

The Onion stopped being funny right around when every other legacy outlet started writing Onion articles as their regular news.

Goes through waves. Comedy usually is the funniest when it's coming from the cultural resistance. When the cultural resistance gets power their comedy tends to suffer a huge drop in quality.

Consider how when trump lost the election making fun of trump was considerably less relevant and funny than making fun of Biden.

Similarly if you were in conservative circles in 2016 you'd get laughs for making fun of trump before he was the frontrunner, after that you'd simply be excommunicated for daring to blaspheme god's chosen president.

They can't stop Streisand Effect-ing JK Rowling. They know all it takes is for someone to get curious and read what she's actually written and they'll be peaked so they keep going harder and harder on this in the hopes people will self-censor out of shame.

And the Fonz is behind the ski boat...he's approaching the ramp...he's up the ramp...and lands safely, avoiding being eaten by the shark! And the crowd goes wild!

This may be the saddest thing I've read in awhile.

It's like, the opposite of humor.

TRAs dogpiled me on twitter because I made a fairly innocuous comment about how I didn't think it was humorous in any way. They were actually, seriously, viciously attacking me because I didn't think something was funny. Just when I think they can't get any more bizarre...

When your entire existence is about lying to yourself and expecting everyone to lie to you, someone disagreeing with them is a massive issue for them. The more I see their demands and their reactions to even tiny mistakes, the more they remind me of severely autistic children being confronted by unexpected changes to their routine.

The one good thing is that the tantrums and overreactions are starting to get noticed by normies - who are starting to realise that the troons are not like the old gays and lesbians. This is not good for the troons.

The backlash is coming and I think it’s a really poor strategic decision by normie gays and lesbians to stand anywhere near the TQA+ people especially as they, the TQA+ people, are the ones doing the groomery shit that’s going to end the normie goodwill.

The slideshow format is terrible; couldn't make it past the 2nd slide.
