Funny how much actual power the “oppressed” seem to have.

The thing is, this guy has already set up a couple of success companies so he knows full well he can do so again and will have got a big payoff for leaving at the peak.

He likely also has a good idea about how capable all the woke hangers-on who wouldn't stand by him are at being able to run things without him.

Trouble is he’s in a very specialist area of music, creating the orchestral samples that most composers these days use to score TV, lower budget film and games. His company is one of the top of the field and works with orchestras like the BBC and London Symphony Orchestras, he has almost certainly got a no-compete clause in his contract so he probably cannot do anything related to any of the things he is an expert in.

I mean, he isn’t going to be broke any time soon, but it’s a fairly shitty thing to happen.

When you’re willing to walk away from that big of a company because of some deranged people who have no life online, then you don’t deserve the £55m company. Have a fucking spine!

I don’t think he had much of a choice as he wasn’t the sole founder, and he was concerned for his employees’ livelihoods.

I can sympathize with him but being honest, I don't think he should resign here. He's probably getting pushed out. If I worked there I'd be updating my resume and leaving at the first opportunity.
