Why don't they read another book? Harry Potter hasn't been relevant for a while. They really obsess over this shit.

They get the most mad over people who they think are supposed to be on their side. The primary weapon is usually to "cancel" the person but Rowling is rich and can't be cancelled. It's one of the only examples in recent times when Al'Queerida couldn't terrorize their target off the Internet so they are irate.

they managed to drop Robin DiAngelo (remember her?) like a hot potato 2020, but they didn't grow up with a literal fantasy cycle she wrote (and "compulsively thinking slurs when you see nonwhite people" or "telling the first Black couple you've met ever racist thing your family did/said at a fancy dinner" isn't compelling fiction)

it's impressive how fast they turn without warning: the Brianna Ghey situation is already disintegrating
