No matter what the issue is about, if you hear the term “thought leaders” you know they're full of bullshit.

"Thought leaders" is just an open admission that they want you to turn off your brain and let them do all of that unpleasant thinking on your behalf, and just blindly trusting that they'll get it right because of course they wouldn't have their own intentions with that kind of power.
