Wtf whatever psycho is the mod on the suicide watch one is absolutely disgusting. One of the removed comments word for word said "Don't do it bro. You are loved". Nothing else, that was the entire comment. There were a lot like that. In a subreddit supposedly dedicated to helping people with suicidal thoughts get through it. Hard to believe that's even real.

Discord staff regularly tells users to kill themselves if they try to appeal their account getting deleted. And they go out of their way to hurt you as much as they have the power to. All because something got you flagged as offensive. And usually they wipe out everyone in the server where the incident took place.

The internet has truly been a disaster for human relations.

Excuse me?!

Do you have an article on this?

No article on this specifically, though there are plenty of articles about abuses. People getting banned for no reason, furries running everything, reddit cabal mod allthefoxes wreaking havoc, etc.

However you will find on their help forum and /r/discordapp plenty of testimonies about absolutely awful treatment from "Trust and Safety". I myself had an experience a couple of months ago, they shut down a server I was in and EVERYONE who participated got their account deleted. Even though it had voluntarily locked itself completely after receiving a warning from Discord a week or two earlier. I didn't bother with appealing because they don't even take appeals, nor can they reverse it because they have to permanently delete your account for some reason instead of just banning it. After that I found some jawdropping responses to people who did try to appeal, which included implying that they deserved to die for what they supposedly did and should kill themselves (and often this was said to people who were already suicidal).
